We especially loved the Riesling and the Bordeaux style red. This place is worth the visit and will give you a chance to be pleasantly surprised by the quality of the wines Chapman is producing right now!

The wine tasting revealed why they have been successful in competition. The inside lodge was really cozy and decorated so nicely.

I came by myself to enjoy some alone time on a Tuesday morning, and it was so relaxing to sit on the deck and read. Beautiful view, kind people, well priced wine, and a well looked after establishment– what could possibly be better?

We found Chapman Hill on a recent trip to the Norris Lake region. We stopped by for a tasting and ended up taking several bottles home with us. The winery is a lovely visit– a beautiful porch to look over the landscape and comfy indoor chairs for chatting and hanging out (including for the kids!)

What a fantastic winery this was. We drove up for the evening from Knoxville and tasted everything they had and then bought a bottle of Pinot noir and some slushies to drink while enjoying a charcuterie board and taking in the view. The staff was so friendly and fun, we can’t wait to go back.

Rainy afternoon on Norris Lake, so we decided to check it out. This is a family-owned winery and the passion for their business shows! Friendly service and fan- tastic wine. The winemaker gave us a personalized tour where we learned all about their history and Chuck’s meticulous process of creating the perfect wines.

This is a gem of a location in the Norris Lake area-great wine, ambience, and view of the surrounding wonders of Tennessee. They provide wine tastings and serve snack plates and special treats of Peach Bellini and Pina Colada slushies. View is amazing

I decided to go to Chapman Hill as a study break and I am so happy that I did. … My group of friends and I got there around 1pm and the experience at Chapman Hill was just amazing! I got a flight of their white and sweet wines … Our group also got the charcuterie board which was amazing especially the goat cheese with pineapple jalapeño jelly on it.

Enjoyed sitting out on the covered deck; nibbling on the cheese/meat board … enjoyed talking with the proprietor, very personable and welcoming. Had to leave with a couple bottles of our favorite and a couple of signature wine glasses to remember the occasion.

You can tell they put a lot of love into it. They have a great patio that faces the road and rolling hills. We sat out there and had spinach dip (which I highly recommend) and a bottle of wine. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend : )

Wine was great and so were the plate offers. We got the cheese, crackers, olives and also the pulled pork sliders and shared them. Great view, wine and food. Had been to LaFollette many times but this was a new discovery for us.

We visited this winery on our trip to visit our daughter and her family in Tennessee. The atmosphere was relaxed and very hospitable. We shared a bottle of their sweet Riesling. It was delightful. The owner of the winery came over and visited with us, which was great because being from California, we had questions about growing grapes in this climate. He works with the viticulture department at UT to see what varieties are being developed for growing in Tennessee. We also purchased a bottle of their award-winning Riesling. We would definitely return.

A lovely surprise awaited us as we vacationed on the lakes nearby. We stopped in for a tasting and the owner Chuck chatted with us and told us the story of ending up in TN to start a winery. We left with several bottles and returned a few days later to pick up several more to take home with us. From the back patio to the comfy chairs to the games in the cabinet that kept our daughters (9 and 6) entertained– we had a lovely time and highly recommend finding this hidden gem. The wines were also lovely– we particularly loved the Dry Riesling and the Bordeaux style red.
